Abstract

The palm oil industry is a crucial sector in the global economy, yet it frequently faces criticism regarding its environmental and social impacts. Various innovations in sustainable palm oil management have been introduced to mitigate these negative impacts, with a focus on environmentally friendly technologies and more efficient management practices. This article aims to provide a literature review of recent innovations in palm oil management, with an emphasis on the application of sustainable practices and environmentally friendly technologies. Based on an analysis of current literature, this article identifies various innovative solutions in terms of waste management, the use of renewable energy, and the implementation of more environmentally friendly agricultural systems. The study results indicate that while significant challenges remain, the adoption of innovative technologies can improve the productivity and sustainability of the palm oil industry. This research leads to recommendations for further development in more environmentally friendly and sustainable management.
